KHAOS (2022) is a horror short film shot on Kodak Tri-X 7266 black and white film. The film follows a Soviet cosmonaut who reaches a distant and mysterious planet with the mission of planting a scientific device. Its consequences and the realities he encounters surpass human understanding.
The film is heavily inspired by the works of filmmakers Robert Eggers, Andrei Tarkovsky and Na Hong-Jin. It combines horror, spirituality, and sci-fi. Aesthetically the film is based on the works of Gustavo Dore, concretely on his illustrations of the Divine Comedy.
